This weekend, I explored the heritage trail of Singapore at Armenian street after which I met up with a friend of mine. We went shopping, admired the beautiful decorations on orchard road , had a sumptuous brunch at Cedele and ended up giggling, laughing and having a splendid girly time.
Cedele is a gourmet bakery cum café in Singapore that focuses on healthy and good quality food. They use the freshest and finest ingredients to provide a wholesome dining experience. I absolutely love the taste of freshly baked bread and the crunchy sound of the first bite. That being said, i glanced at the menu with the intention of having a sandwich but instead the pancakes caught my attention! So, I ended up ordering apple cinnamon pancakes with Belgian chocolate ice cream! Sinful :)

When my pancakes arrived, they looked soft and fluffy. They were cooked to golden perfection, drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with a huge scoop of creamy Belgian ice cream. The pancake was generously filled with apple slices and had a wafting fragrance of fresh cinnamon.
My friend ordered the vegetarian sandwich in multigrain bread that came with fresh salad on the side. It looked healthy and tasted delicious. My friend is vegetarian and loves sandwiches made with fresh vegetables and seasonings. Her verdict was a double thumbs up.

While we enjoyed our meal, I glanced outside admiring the view. We were seated near the window and hard a birds eye view of orchard road and the fountain below. There were various outdoor dining options and even a bar! People were sitting outside, relaxing and enjoying the weekend.

Inside the café, even though the weekend crowd was slowly building up, the service was extremely efficient and friendly. They young boys and girls served the food with a smile .
The large mirror on the side reflected the blue sky and the trees outside . This was definitely a great choice for a delicious yet healthy brunch. Yeah, I know, my pancakes with chocolate ice cream are probably not healthy, but I have one life, so I will eat. Not to mention, I am also a chocolate lover. Maybe they ought to make another movie.. confessions of a chocoholic :)
